In his practice, Derrick represents clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters, including the defense of vehicle manufacturers and manufacturers of industrial and consumer products. Derrick has represented several companies in asbestos litigation, numerous trucking companies, and a variety of national retailers and restaurants.
In addition, Derrick has an extensive insurance defense practice, where he has successfully defended cases involving insurance bad faith and personal injury.
Derrick earned his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1993, after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma State University in 1990. He was admitted to the State Bar of Oklahoma in 1993 and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
