He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers with High Distinction in Economics and his Law Degree from the University Maryland School of Law. Following Law school he clerked for the Hon. Many of Evan’s cases have resulted in either multi-million dollar settlements or verdicts and, in cases that have been appealed to the Appellate Division or Supreme Court, he has made new law in the State of New Jersey in several areas of law. Evan has also been called on to testify on Employment Legislation before the NJ State Senate and Assembly. He successfully obtained a verdict in Federal Court, on behalf of a Service Station Owner who sued a fuel oil conglomerate for violating the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act (PMPA), including an award of damages and attorneys fees. Evan also has been Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney, a certification which establishes that he has been able to demonstrate sufficient levels of experience, education, knowledge, and skill in civil trial practice.
