Stephen G. Lowry

A top trial lawyer and a passionate advocate for justice, Stephen “Steve” G. Lowry is a partner at Harris Lowry Manton LLP, with offices in Atlanta and Savannah. Steve is a nationally respected leader who has secured a number of record-breaking jury verdicts over the course of his legal career.

Not intimidated by big corporations or by complex cases spanning across many practice areas, Steve is a master of courtroom strategy and a compassionate advocate for clients. He has successfully litigated automotive defect, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, nursing home neglect and abuse, trucking collisions, medical malpractice, personal injury and automobile collision cases.

Over the course of his legal career, Steve has secured justice for clients and safeguarded consumers from harmful products, raising awareness of dangerous products and leading to changes in the auto industry. He earned national recognition for his superior trial skills and tenacity in the pursuit of justice when he was named the F. Scott Baldwin Outstanding Trial Lawyer of the Year by the American Association for Justice’s New and Young Lawyers Division in 2009.

Over the years, Steve has been inducted twice into the Georgia Verdicts Hall of Fame by The Daily Report. He has been named to the Georgia Super Lawyers Top 100 list eight years in a row and been honored as either a Georgia Rising Star or Georgia Super Lawyer every year since 2008. Steve was featured in the Daily Report’s 13 under 40 to Watch in 2011.

Steve is a cum laude graduate of Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College who graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with dual degrees in Economics and History.
